County Streamlines Procurement Saving Time and Money
With 1,400 miles of roads, 2 million square feet of buildings, 174 bridges and a system of parks, Monterey County found itself facing a mounting backlog of work. Faced with high expectations to do more with less, the county decided to implement Job Order Contracting (JOC), a proven construction procurement process. With the introduction of Job Order Contracting, project timelines were drastically reduced by 12-14 weeks.
