County Expedites Construction Procurement through JOC

Since 2013, Cook County, IL has utilized Job Order Contracting to streamline the construction procurement process, save costs and improve project efficiency. Challenged with delivering timely projects to its citizens, the county’s traditional procurement methods often take well over a year from initiation to completion. Job Order Contracting, however, has reduced the time frame down to three months.
