Gordian Helps Ready McCormick Place for COVID-19 Response

In its preparations to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Chicago earmarked the McCormick Place Convention Center as an alternative care site. But building 3,000 patient beds into 1.2 million square feet of exhibit hall space in a matter of weeks takes a lot of coordination. Chicago’s Department of Assets, Information and Services enlisted Gordian to help prepare the space using Job Order Contracting (JOC).
